Preseason snow came fast and hard...then it got warm. Making the best of the the first couple days of December we went for a couple tours this weekend. Friday took us up Little Cottonwood to Patsy Marley. I was in search of a good look at Wolverine Cirque but the clouds moved in and the winds kicked up hiding it from view. We had a nice mellow ride down.
Saturday held a nice tour with some decent vertical. Chase McMillan showed us a good zone up on the backside of Timp. The UFO's. Three nice bowls with some nice long uninterrupted runs. There is nothing like the Southern Wasatch... but you always pay for it with long approaches and some bush-whacking.
